the jerk store called

 Well, what do you think?
Back to Full Blog

As you can tell, I've made some major changes here at the Jerk Store (with a ton of help from Renegade's post titled "Blogstream Font Changes, Colors, Complete Overview" on her Cherokee Musings Blog).

I think I'm pretty happy with it. If anyone has trouble reading my blog with the changes I've mad then please say so and I'll see what I can do to clear it up. Once again, thanks for your patience and I'll be back writing very shortly.

Looks good...nice 70's colors and pattern and shit...and you can read it fine. Nice job for a white boy, Moody.

Thanks Biggie. It was kinda like learning math. It's confusing and you just kind of stumble throu it until that moment whe it just clicks and then you wonder why it was ever confusing.

I owe mad thanks to Renegade for the helpful post she wrote a little while back.

Everything is easy to read and looks good. Well, I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of the base background. It is kinda busy so it is a little distracting for my taste.

All in all I'd give you a 8/10 ... maybe 7.5/10.

It looks like a blog from the Ty Pennington collection at Sears, or possibly a gay chessboard. Hmmmm, gay chess... Queen takes queen. Queen takes queen again. Queen has a smoke and listens to Streisand. Just a touch of hopefully non-offensive humor. I seem to have lost my PCness today.

It is a little busy but it's different and that's always a good thing. Everything is still easy to read.

Nope, no problem reading it, and the new colors are interesting... This is weird: While you have just created a "custome palette", I'm feeling happy that I finally figured out that if one wants to post in different colors, sizes, fonts, etc, all one has to do is click 'advanced'...

WOW, It's like a quilt and a very colorful one at that. Yes, very busy indeed, but I like different. It makes me smile and my eyes had to adjust a wee bit . Have a great week and I would say God Bless, but I don't think you believe in God, but oh well, since I do, I will say it anyway. God Bless! Karen

Looks cool, Moody, and is very readable. Nice, warm, soothing earth tones to go with your not so soothing rants! I love the combo!

This is the most attractive blogsite I have ever seen. Perhaps you should become an interior decorator.

It has become even prettier than it was last night. Those must have been flip flop decisions, ala Kerry, with the "Liberal" background from yesterday. Either way I do think it looks really good. I am really looking forward to your on point post, which I can only hope is next.

Yeah, I know it's a little busy but I really liked the colors. It's a pain in the ass to find colors that you like for the links and text and wallpapers and what not that don't blend in to each other some where on the page.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I really do appriciate them. It took me the better part of a day tooling around with everything and I'm glad I'm not the only one that likes the way it looks.

P.S. notacynic: I plan on writing about the increasingly awsome Senator from Wisconsin tomorrow.

I doubt that anyone is still checking the comments on this post but I wanted to add that I was at a friends house that had his monitor colors set with too much white in it and my blog looked washed out.

If you don't see the pattern in the background as deep brick colored reds, oranges and hunter greens then you may want to check your monitor settings. It's either that or my monitor is on the way out because I have put alot of energy into getting a true color balance on it due to gaming and what not.

thanks,

Moody
